There was a couple of days that Alicia's school was closed in April. Greg's parents watched her those days and she loved it. She always loves going to the park!
On occasion we will play hide-and-go-seek with Alicia. Here is a photo of her hiding from her Dad. We sure had a hard time controlling our laughter of when we saw this! I think time was running out and she was desperate for a hiding place so this is what she came up with. The other side of this step is open so her head is under the step.
We spent the last few days of April in Albuquerque visiting Greg's sister and family. Alicia was so excited to go! On the day we got up to travel, we had to get up at 4:30 or so and when I shook Alicia I said, "Time to go to Albuquerque" and she was up in a matter of seconds. I don't think I have ever seen her get up that fast before. She sure had a lot of fun playing with her cousins.
While we were there, her oldest cousin celebrated her 14th birthday.
On the Saturday we were there, everyone got up and went for a 3 mile run except for me and Alicia, we went to the park.
I am including a picture Alicia took of me. I was surprised she held the camera straight!
The house on the left side of this picture in the background is Cathy's. Notice the beautiful Sandia Mountians in the far background. Unfortunately my camera doesn't pick up the detail of the mountains, they were very pretty from where we were.
Coming back from Albuquerque Alicia insisted on pulling her own suitcase and wouldn't tolerate anyone doing for her. She needed a little help coordinating getting on and off the escalator with it but other than that she walked as if she was a pro. We got a lot of 'double takes' from people when they noticed a little girl pulling her suitcase. One of the security people even commented, "A seasoned traveler" when referring to Alicia. Little did they know it was her first time to fly.

Great picutres Judy! I was just looking at your blog yesterday and was hoping for an update! Alicia is a seasoned traveler after all...she flew all the way from China to the USA! :-)
Hope we can get together soon. We miss you!
Alicia is growing up so fast! Your trip looks like it was a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing!
